Susan Boyle and Diversity are through to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent. Wearing more make up than her original apperance on the show, Susan Boyle delivered a powerful vocal performance of Memory from musical Cats. At the end of her performance, all three judges and the audience were at their feet applauding.
Piers Morgan said of Ms Boyle: “I thought you sang beautifully, thank you Susan.”
Amanda Holden said: “You nailed that performance, I am so proud of you.”
And Simon simply added: “I just want to apologise for the way we treated you” to which Ms Boyle’s cheekily replied: “I know nothing, I from Barcelona,” joking, in the style of Manuel from Fawlty Towers.
When asked if the attention after her last apperance had led to pressure she said. “What pressure? I’ve really enjoyed myself tonight.”
Also through to the finals are the all dancing high octane group Diversity. They came through as one of the next two acts to receive highest votes alongside ten year old Natalie Okri. In the end it came down to the judges with Piers Morgan voting for Diversity and Amanda Holden opting for Natalie.
In the end it was down to Simon Cowell to cast the deciding vote and he opted for Diversity much to their relief.
The acts are competing for a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show and a £100,000 prize.
