Scarlett Johansson new Face of Mango

Scarlett Johansson has been announced as the new face of Spanish retail giant Mango replacing Penelope Cruz who fronted for the retail group for the last four seasons.

Johansson will make her debut in the 2009 Fall/Winter campaign. The American actress who is famous for her curves as well as her acting was chosen according to the retailer for embodying its “urban, independent and cosmopolitan woman’ who is also ‘serene and elegant, yet fun-loving and youthful all at the same time’ in keeping with its brand values.

The appointment means Johansson will be following in the footsteps of famous faces who have fronted for the brand including Naomi Campbell, Milla Jovovich and Christy Turlington.

Mango has around 20 stores in Great Britain.
